I was asked to photograph two good friends from Norway, Eivind and Louisa. They both work as Flight Instructors at Phoenix East Aviation. I had worked with both of them before and knew they were both comfortable in front of the camera and easy to work with. We always have a lot of fun during different shoots so I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph them in an aviation setting.
We agreed to meet an hour before sunset to ensure the best quality of light for the shoot. The warm glow from the sun during the “golden hour” added a pleasing feel to the scene, giving a soft, diffused light.
We found a perfect location for the shoot with a Cessna 172 Skyhawk Aircraft as background.
The shoot turned out great, they were both a joy to work and the conditions were just right. I have added a few photographs from the shoot below.
